About Us

We are a husband and wife team, both trained and experienced goldsmiths who are also graduate gemologists. Originally Lilo Kramer and Keith Hall, we are now married and have worked together since 1980. Lilo was born and raised in Switzerland. She later apprenticed under Erwin Brandl in Zurich successfully becoming a certified Swiss goldsmith. She went on to work both as a goldsmith and salesperson for Bucherer in Zurich and Davos. Moving to the United States in 1980 and later becoming a citizen, she went on to study with the Gemological Institute of America graduating as a gemologist.

Keith grew up in New Hampshire, studied at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston for five years, under the tutelage of Ernest Thompson Jr., graduating with honors as a gold and silversmith. After working in the jewelers building in Boston, he moved back to New Hampshire to work for several local jewelry firms before leaving to work for himself. During this period he studied with the Gemological Institute of America graduating as a gemologist.
